======Subscribe to RSS feed====== RSS feeds offer an option to receive the newest information from selected websites. If a website offers a RSS feed, you can subscribe to it in your Outlook client on **Windows** and when news are posted on the website, they will also be send to your mailbox. For **macOS** you can find a list of RSS feed readers on the website [[https://www.heise.de/download/products/mac/nachrichten/rss#?os=MAC&cat=nachrichten%2Frss|heise.de]]. Information on how to use Safari and the Mail email app for this can be found at [[https://www.maclife.de/mac-os-x-rss-feeds-mit-mail-und-safari-lesen|MacLife]]. ====Subscribe==== - To subscribe to a RSS feed in Outlook, right-click on the folder **RSS feeds** and choose **Add new RSS feed**. - In the **New RSS feed** window enter the URL, for example ''%%https://info.gwdg.de/news/en/all/operating-news/feed/%%'' if you want to subscribe to our operating news. \\ \\ {{:de:services:email_collaboration:email_service:1windows:outlook_config:rss.png?400|}} \\ \\ - Click **Add** and **OK**. You will now receive the operating news of the subscribed website in your mailbox in the folder **RSS feeds**. ====Unsubscribe==== To delete a RSS feed, there are two steps: * Delete the folder in your mailbox * Unsubscribe from the feed To delete the folder, simply click on it and press the **Delete** button. When prompted to confirm, click **Yes**.
