====== Security Workshop ======
**December 16th 2021, 14:00 - 17:00 or 18:00** 

All data centers have one problem in common: Hackers always manage to get a legal userid. This is particularly problematic with HPC centers, as they grant every user access to login machines, which on the one hand make them vulnerable to possible security flaws in the system on these machines and on the other hand the user gets access to the entire cluster from there.

This workshop will deal with security issues relating to cluster operation. Experience with break-ins, handling security updates, design of security barriers, configuration of the systems on the one hand to prevent the break-in or at least to make it more difficult and on the other hand to enable forensics.
