====== Data recovery ======

You can recover deleted or overwritten files from your personal network drive and institute drives.
For this, right-click on the folder containing the data you want to recover and choose "Properties". Choose the tab "Previous Versions" in the newly opened window. There you can find a list with the versions from the last 4 weeks.

A double-click on one of the entries will open a new file explorer windows with the files from the chosen timestamp. You can copy the files you want from there to your normal directory.

Please note: This function and the tab "Previous Versions" is only available on Windows computers. If you do not have access to such a Computer, you can use our  [[en:services:server_services:compute_server:windows_terminal_server|Windows Remote Desktop Server]] nutzen.
