The GWDG offers for the University of Goettingen and the Max-Planck-Society a MySQL-Service for applications.
A fast and high reliable connection are ensured. The redundant MySQL-Servers are optimzed for MySQL-Applications. Through continuous replication the data on the MySQL-Servers are every time up to date. For perfomance reasons, only InnoDB is supported as Storage Engine. Please check your application regarding this issue, before requesting a database.
