 +GWDG provides to its customers a Contex HD4230 Large Format Scanner. This scanner is able to scan targets with a width of 106 cm (42 inch) at a resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi. The scanner can be used only with an appointment and instruction by GWDG employees. Please contact our support <support@gwdg.de> or phone 0551/201 1523.

 +This scanner is able to scan reflective targets (e.g. photos, prints) and transparent targets (e.g. slides, negatives, transparencies) with a maximum size of 310 mm x 437 mm at a resolution of 2400 dpi x 4800 dpi in 48 bits. This scanner is located at the GWDG user room  and can be used without an appointment. There is a scan software that is called "EpsonScan".
