Virus Protection

In order to protect the computer against malware mostly from the internet (viruses, worms and Trojan horses) especially on the Windows systems a virus protection program is required.

The staff and students of universities in Lower Saxony can use Sophos Anti-Virus from Sophos Ltd. These universities have a long-term license of this product and the right to use it at home too.
